After I logged in and re-downloaded one of my games, I turned the antivirus on and downloaded another to ensure I could, and it worked. Once I did that, it finally loaded and let me log in. The second thing I did was to disable all of my antivirus protection, Windows Firewall and my personal antivirus software. You right click the file, click Properties, then Compatibility, and make sure that the Compatibility box (I forget exactly what it says) is checked. I did two things and I'm not sure if one or both did it.įirst, I set the Steam exe file to run in Compatibility Mode. ![]() I don't know if this is the same problem as you guys, but I just had this problem.
